Earlier this summer, the world watched the tournament unfold across North America. Tonight, we ask a different question: can the champions of football also claim the title when it comes to wine?
Bring a bottle from the nation that has won the World Cup 2026. France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay are all contenders, each with rich wine traditions alongside their football history. England has also lifted the trophy, though their wine legacy is… still developing, so for the sake of this tasting, we may quietly hope they do not take home the title this time.
Let’s see which country takes home the trophy at the table.
Things to bring:
A bottle of wine to share (matching the theme of the evening)
A wine glass
A small snack or dish for the group
A jacket and/or blanket for cooler evenings
Feel free to bring a new friend or neighbor
What we provide:
Wine equipment (openers, Coravin, decanters, aerators, etc.)
A selection of snacks
Water (sparkling and still)
Propane heaters
The occasional bonus bottle
Please try to arrive as close as possible to the posted start time so everyone has the chance to taste all of the wines.
